Mandrake 10 Official FTP Install

I'm attempting to an FTP/HTTP(I've tried both, and am willing to do either) install of Mandrake 10 official.

I burned boot.iso and booted from the CD.
I will choose FTP, DHCP(and i go into log to see that it did actually an IP/subnet/etc.).
I don't need a hostname or domain, so I did not enter anything into those fields, earlier.
Now, on the menu where it asks for the server, directory, etc. I enter the server( the IP of the server ), and the directory ( pub/linux/distributions/mandrakelinux/official/10.0/i586 or whatever ), hit OK, and then receive an error that it cannot locate the needed file, though I see it at the exact location on another machine with via FTP client.

I've tried various servers, and HTTP as well.
Am I entering something wrong? Is there a problem I'm not aware of?
Any help would be appreciated.

this is just a thought, you may need to add
/pub/linux/distributions/mandrakelinux/official/10.0/i586

instead of

pub/linux/distributions/mandrakelinux/official/10.0/i586

missing that foward slash i believe is the problem.

also u could just use the server name instead of the ip addy
such as raven.cslab.vt.edu

but everything else looks fine. if there is any problems i would say it was b/c of missing the forward slash. if that works or doestn let us know

It puts the / there by default, and I had tried it that way before.

I'm going to try a few more things, such as another NIC, but if I have no luck I'll start downloading the tree and try to do a cd install(if i can make the images), or if that fails a hard drive install, instead.

It's now working fine.

My guess is that it was my ISP.
A few days ago I had them come out to clear up some problems I was encountering with packetloss.
