Ok, i know 2.6 kernel is a bit tougher to get compiled than 2.4... but even with my conservative setting the _make bzImage_ fails with following output ;

is the init/built-in.o corrupt oor what.. pls help!!

Hmmm... I sought out the aswer.... when I unchecked all the bootsplash options it compiled alright...
Just leaves me wondering, is there a dependancy between them and some other option...

U would assume those compile by itself.
