Mandrake 10 i586 CD?

What does the Mandrake 10 i586 ISO mean? Will it install on my Compaq Presario (Intel Pentium III 1Ghz, 512 RAM, 32 MB ATI Radeon PCI Card) Machine once i burn it to CD and reboot?

The Mandrake i586 ISO is for any system with an Intel, AMD, or compatible 32bit CPU. Your Pentium 3 does fall into this category.

Thanx MSKHez, I was wondering what that meant. I knew it meant an Intel CPU but didn't know what architecture my CPU fell under. I've installed Red Hat Linux 7.2 before but didn't really have to learn what i386 or iXXX meant. When I ran across Debian and Mandrake i had to find out before I started to download a huge ISO. So your info really helped me out a lot. Thanx again!:D
