trying to play dvd with totem player- get error message- can read nav packet- how can i fix this so i can run dvds on totem

I had the same problem, the only way i could play dvds was to install ogle (availible as a package on a mandrake cd).

I didn't need to install ogle, only libdvdcss.

i am having similar trouble to ronss, i tried totem didn't work, so i got ogle, but it seems to crash all the time, is there any way i can make it a little more stable? Or better yet - anyway i can get totem to play dvd's - getting libdvdcss didn't do a thing.

Try Mplayer, works perfectly for me. :)
