I decided to programm for Linux. So I decided on Mandrake.
I decuided to order CD set
But I have got some questions???

Some guys told me that Linux Mandrake 10.2 is about to appear.
When is it supposed to happen.
I have faced with a few CD sets:
Mandrake 10.0 Community (4 CD)
Mandrake 10.0 Official Download (4 CD)

what do you think of Linux Mandrake 10.1 and Linux Mandrake 10.1 comunity that were released.
What is main difference betweeen Linux Mandrake 10.(1) and Linux Mandrake 10.(1) Community.
Please help me to make decision.

Community is a pre-release which is available to the community to test and feed back to Mandrake. It's more cutting edge than Official and so is likely to be less stable.

The community release is mandrakes version of a release candidate, or whatever. The official release would be considered the stable release.

Currently mandrake 10 official is the latest stable release
mandrake 10.1 CE is the latest pre-release (available to mdk members)

mandrake 10.1 official will arrive shortly... (not 10.2)
Should be a month or so after the community release...

First of all I would like to thank you for help.
I still have a few questions:

I have faced with two sets:

PLF for Mandrake 10.0 (2CD)
Contribs for Mandrake 10.0 (6CD)

Will this soft (on those CD) be compatible with Linux Mandrake 10.1 (Official).

Will the special (PLF and Contribs) soft be released for Linux Mandrake 10.1.

So Is it worth to buy all this stuff or wait for release of Linux Mandrake 10.1. and special (PLF and Contribs) soft.

Please help to make decision
