Mandrake 10.1 on MS Virtual PC
 

Hi Guys/Girls,

I am trying to install Mandrake 10.1 on MS Virtual PC under Windows XP.

For some reason it just doesnt recognise disk 2 - it sees disk 1 and 3 fine,but,if I skip disk 2 it doesn't let me boot.

I know disk 2 is definately working as I have installed it as the primary OS on another pc.

Any suggestions?

P.S.It was suggested on another forum that it might be the optical drives on this pc,but,as stated there,one is 18 months old and the other is 8 months old,one is a dvd-ram drive,and the other is cd-rom and I get the same problem on both drives.

Sorted the problem - created ISO's from the cd's and let Virtual PC read those off the HDD and it's working fine now.
