After I install the NVIDIA (5336) driver, and I reboot,
the X-Server does not want to start again.
It only works right after installing the NVIDIA driver.
I´ve checked all possibilities of the NvAGP, but it is some
other problem. If anybody knows some help, please post..

you need to replace/edit a file (/include/linux/pm.h) for them to work. or, i think MDK might have a patch for it by now.

also, while you're at it, you prolly should upgrade to the latest Nvidia drivers. the current version is -6111. you can get the HERE.

for the fix to the problem, see This Thread. you can also go HERE, post#11 to get a tar.gz version of that file. it's small (5kb) & it's safe (i know these people).

finally, see my sig for Nvidia install info should you have any problems with that.

actually i found a cure for my system.
i did not touch the kernel file (pm.h) itself, but i edited the nv.c after extracting the contents of the nvidia download.

there are several threads explaining what to do.

in my opinion, the problem is on some other fact, i included a line "nvidia" in the /etc/modules.preload
and i found my system booting and switching to X properly afterwards.

anyway. i hope there will be a patch soon, to solve this fact, i just wonder that the official does not have this change compared to the community version.
