Mandrake 10.1 Installation Help!

Well this is the first time i've encountered any problems with a linux installation, here it goes, when the installer ask me what packages I want to install, when I click next, it gives me an error "Base system not specified" something li
ke that. Even when I have everything selected. When I go to the per package route, I get loads of error saying this program needs this.. so how can i install this? or did i just burn 3 coasters? geez

so how do u let people use linux if you don't let them install it eh?

Sounds like you have a bad disk.

"We" people have nothing to do with it.

And most have no trouble getting the installation going.
