Mandrake 10.1 Drivers for SoundBlaster Audigy LS?
 

Hi, I have a Creative Labs Audigy LS sound card, and have just installed Mandrake 10.1 Community. I understand from reading forums that I need module snd-audigyls.ko in order to support this card. There are lots of instructions on how to do this, but I was wondering if someone out there already has this module built and might be willing to share it? Thanks!

There are probably rpms already out there for Mandy 10.1. But before you go searching for them try a moprobe snd-audigyls (note I omitted the ".ko") and see if that works.

Thanks, actually that was the first thing I tried. No such luck. That's why I have posted asking if anyone else has gone through the pain of building the module, and could simply share it. I have built a few in my day, and rarely does it go smoothly!
