Mandrake 10.1 Community DVD: with ATI drivers?!

According to the mandrake site, the mandrake 10.1 DVD contains [ATI produced] drivers for ATI cards! Is this true, and does it mean that if I buy the 10.1 DVD I will have working 3D on my Radeon 9600, or is this the same as always in that it is only 2D support.

Please, the whole 3D graphics thing is all that keeps me from switching to mandrake

If you BUY (not download) a dvd\some cd's you'll get the ATI (and the nvidia ) driver integrated in MDK. If you download it, these are not included.
This is done because some legal stuff (yeah I know, it sucks) i guess

What's wrong with your ATI drivers now? I have a Radeon 9700 Pro and it works fine for games and apps
