mandrake 10.0 pro

i have been running this for over 5 months and have never shut this down am running it as a server and have one site on it. problem is that just this morning i went to log into the site and get no page can be found. then i goto the server and it will not let me log in so i shut it down and restart it now i can getting this when it goes through its checks.

Code:
start partmon: Checking if partitions have enough free diskspace warning, free space for </> is only<0> wich inferior to <20000>
                                                                                                 [failed]
                                                                                                 [failed]
once this is all done i do not get the login page for kde i just get comand login says localhost login
now i try root with password and it comes up login incorrect so i try my other login mynane and then password and i can log in and i get this
-bash-2.05b$ so then i trye in su and then password and get that your account has expired please contact your system administrator

now what i need to do is be able to log into kde and then clean diskspace so i wil not get this error or even clean the disk now but i am not sure how to do this also why did the root expire i thought that would never expire. thanks for any help

Just my sneaky suspicions
but if your server has been running fautless till now
and now has gone "belly up"
I would think you should have posted this in the security forum first
might pay to ask a mod to move it

get your hands on the Penguin Sleuth kit
or something similar
and do some forensics on your system
you may have been cracked or rooted
so run rootkit hunter or similar
etc etc
