mandrake 10.0 documentation

I recently installed mandrake 10 community on my computer. Being a slackware / arch kinda guy I was presently surprised by how much I really like mandrake 10. I only have one problem and that is finding detailed documentation on how mandrake handles such things such as module loading and starting daemons. What I am looking for is basically a way that I can simply load up modules and daemons at boot time just be simply editing a few files. In arch and slackware this kind of information is very easily found and easily done. I searched and searched the net for this kind of information and pretty much came up with nothing. Now I didnt purchase 10.0 so I dont know if I did if it would come with books and books stuffed with this kind of info or not(I am guessing probably not) but anyway any info on where I can get this information on mandrake would be great.

No books out yet for 10.0. You might find what you need though in the documentation for 9.0, 9.1 or 9.2. Just go to the Mandrake website and pull it up.

All of the documentation on mandrakes site seems to be how to do some things using there gui software. Now I would have no problem setting up the hardware this way but I was unable to find a way to properly load up lirc_gpio. I guess I will keep looking.
