Mandarake 9.1 and Bootmagic

Just installed 9.1 as a dual boot on an AMD XP machine. Turned on machine and everything was fine booted straight into Mandrake and gave me options if I wanted to boot into Windows.

However, I removed Bootmagic and now no Mandrake. Boots straight into Windows now. Re-installed Bootmagic but to no avail. In Bootmagic I see
Linux Ext2/3 , Linux Swap (and six logs) and Win XP as the primary partition. Selecting anyone of the Linux partitions does not enable it to boot.

Boot up with the first disk. Press F1 key. Enter the word "rescue", this will get you into the rescue mode. There is an option to locate linux and fix the MBR. Since you are using XP, especially if it uses the NTFS, you might want to do a google search for 'NT Linux Dual Boot Howto' for instructions on how to use the NT loader to boot up linux. Also, If you get it working, make sure to create a boot floppy, so that you can boot to linux that way if necessary in the future.

Do as stated above but make sure Bootmagic is removed first.
