Man10 rpm install problem
 

I have loaded for a friend the tar.gz driver for a missing printer in the installation of both Susi 9.1and mandrake 10.

The printer is the Z25 from Lexmark and on Mdk9.2 I got it working for him using the same driver.

I tested on a Mandrake 10 system on my machine and it compiled and created the .sh file without any problems, the license and tested it to the printer. My friends machine has been installed fresh with the same dvd and then reinstalled with the 3 seperate disks, but the same problem appears on his machine in each case.

The problem after unzipping the driver .tar.gz at configure is it has the missing files
libtcl* and libth* . I have checked on my machine and the files are on my machine at /var/lib.

Anyone suggest, why my installation of MDK10 with the same dvd used on his machine, could omit these lib files?

Are these files part of some other application that I have loaded and he hasn't yet?

Anyone, know what these files are actually for so I can get his machine to compile the driver?
