Looking for an efficient method of dual booting Mandrake and Windows XP

There are a lot of programs (mostly audio) that I have for Windows and I like to use them.

I am running Mandrake 8.1 but I am, in a few minutes, about to begin upgrading to 10.0.

Afterwards, what is the best way to install Windows XP so that I may chose a particular boot when the computer is turned on. Yes, I turn the thing off.

The best way is to have Windows installed prior to MDK. That way MDK recognizes Windows and makes
a bootmenu that lets you select between MDK and Windows.
And make sure the boot loader is installed on MBR.
