Logitech 350 USB Headphone / Mic

Hi, im running mandriva 2005 and have recently baught the logitech 350 usb headphones. They seem to install correctly but in the device list they are still coming up as an unknown device.

I have installed the packages it has said that needs to be installed (snd-usb-audio) but still the mic doesnt work (the headphones are working fine).

The device appears in mixer so it looks like it recognises what is it but just doesnt work

I have tested the mic by plugging it into my windows machine and it works fine.

any help would be much appreciated
