Login to windows domain

I have setup mandrake 9.1 to be part of our windows nt 4 domain, and it reads all the usernames and passwords from the domain controller.

Is there a way of mounting windows shares via login script? Is it possible for these scripts to be kept on our windows server so each user has a different one?

Also at the moment all the users on the domain are listed at the login screen. Is there a way of limiting this to a number of users?

To mount Windows shares use lines like
\\Server\Share /mnt/share smbfs username=name,password=passwd 0 0

to /etc/fstab. "smbmount \\\\Server\\Share /mnt/share -u user -p passwd" (check man page, am not in front of Linux box) will mount a share from a script.
