Login as Root in Mandrake 10.0 Beta 2

In Mandrake 9.2, when I booted up, there were spaces so I could type the username and password. This allowed me to login as "root" when I needed to. In Mandrake 10.0, the only way to select a user seems to be to click on the little icon for the user, and there is no icon for root. How can I login as root?

Thanks in advance for your help! :)

Edit: fixed minor typo

if you go on your kde menu to configuration and choose something that says CONFIGURE YOUR DESKTOP (aka control panel), from their scroll down to system then choose login manager, enter adminitration mode and deselect root, then logout and you should see root under the login menu.

ciao
