Linux install problem on siemens primergy 870
 

When i try to install mandriva linux 10.2 on the siemens primergy 870 server unit i have it gets to the point where it starts to install the modules
but it tells my that it cant find

/modules/modules.mar no such dirctory or file


can anyone help.

I need to know if i can get the file off the net somewhere or what to do to sort out the problem.

I would try burning a new CD ..... I´ve already had many problems with faulty Mandrake CDs that I burned my self. You can also try installing only the really necessary modules and then install the rest after the system is up and running.

The cd's that i have work on my other pc. should i still try burning them again.

Where is the best place to download from as i no longer have any if the iso files.

How do i go about just installing the essential modules, i haven't used linux that much before.
