Conexant drivers are available from Linuxant. The free one is 'broken' and limits your download speed, the full one costs money.

No you won't. By 'helping' with that, you are encouraging theft from the community. Hope that gives you a warm feeling inside.

Most Conexant modems (at least here) come with HP/Compaq PCs, i´m not trying to be rude, but you yourself can contact HP and if you have a HP/compaq machine with valid serial no., you get the serial no(linuxant). for the full version. Most probably even deepujnair has a hp/compaq machine. As far as i know, it is perfectly legal, HP gives Mandriva with most basic pcs and obviously they supply the full version driver free of cost. I am sorry if you see it as ´theft from the community´ and what do you mean by
¨ Hope that gives you a warm feeling inside.¨? Are you suggesting that I am a pirate or a thief??

Maybe i should not have posted the way I did, and i am sorry if you think it is wrong(i´ll remove it if you want). But let me make myself clear.
I WAS NOT ABOUT TO DO ANYTHING ILLEGAL, SO DONT JUST JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS.
