libXinerama.so.1 help.

I'm trying to install Muse, and after finding myself installing dependancy after dependancy I've come across libXinerama.so.1. I know how to get it, but in order to install it every single package that requires Xfree86 needs to be removed. This is undesirable. Is there any way I can install libXinerama.so.1 without removing anything?
