You have to install it.
The related command "urpmi" find it in any source and install. In that case there is no dependency, but if you are installing any package which depends of others all you need is installed. Read the thread.
Important: It's necessary the sources configured - in such case "plf" is important

No avoid that last link!
Danger Will Robinson!
He gave you a link to an unMandrakified version.
Use the URPMI sources instead.
Please don't direct newbies to unMandrakified versions.
It's a great way to get them into trouble!

You can find this one at http://plf.zarb.org (Penguin Liberation Front). Or, if you are comfortable with compiling it yourself you can get the source package at http://developers.videolan.org/libdvdcss/
Hope this helps.

Don't listen to the man behind the curtain!
ALWAYs use the Pre-compiled Mandrakified binaries via URPMI.
Otherwise you are asking for trouble.
If you must for some crazy reason, recompile, use the Mandrake .src.rpm files instead.

Mandrake doesn't have a .src.rpm of this one. Besides, PLF is a repository of Mandrake RPM's that Mandrake themselves can't include in their distros for various reasons (usually patent issues).

Yes correct.
Libdvdcss2 is what he is looking for which softlinks to libdvdcss once installed.
Following the proceedure (which grabs it from PLF) installs it so there is NO need to try to compile it yourself.
