LE2005 and server

Hi! I am using LE2005 as a server.. Giving dhcp to clients. Used "internet connection sharing wizard" to setup sharing.. DHCP wizard to config this. But still I have to use squid to give cliens web access.. Ok, but certain programs like azureus cant work through proxy.. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.. Why is that? Sometimes internet connection sharing wizard fixes this, but must be a way to let clients access internet all the time without a proxy, or the need of reconfiguring all the time.. Any ideas?

If you are running a firewall like shorewall, you need to add a udp pointer to point to your azureus hosted system. EX:

/etc/shorewall/rules: DNAT NET loc: udp 6881:6889,6969 # this is my firewall entry. 249 is the ip of my Linux client running azureus. The udp ports are what azureus needs to fully function.

Hope this helps.
