hi, im using an ibm thinkpad t41, ive enables ACPI but when i try and hibernate, it says it fails and goes back to the desktop, i don't know what the problem is, can somebody help
Hibernate is a troublesome buisness, and is not well supported in linux... I know that on my laptop there is only one distro that has been able to hibernate, and that is SUSE (10.0 in my case). Other then that I can't help...
this is a late reply but, i got it working magically after i updated, i dont remember installing an update for hibernation though, so i dont really know what happened
