I have just bought a Lenovo G770 laptop, intel i5 processor, 8GB RAM, 500GB H/D running Mandriva 2010.2. This machine has an Attansic 1GB ethernet card for wired connection which requires the at11 driver. My connection drops out after a time. The legend says I am connected but I cannot access the internet without a reboot. This is a known kernel bug. What is the fix, where can I download it and how do I use it? Any help from someone who has the answer would be appreciated, thanks. I also need the codec to allow DVC (the output signal from the SVGA connector to be convertible into HDMI by an HDMI box), what is it called and where can I get this

Usually one would work with the module team to get a fix in the mix.

You could try upgrading to 2011, although many users found that a buggy release.

Or you could jump to the 2012 alpha that was recently released.
