keyboard settings

I just installed Mandrake 10.1, and just about everything works good, except that when I hold down a key to make it repeat, it goes really slowly. For example I sometimes hold down the up or down key to scroll through a file, and it is scrolling really slowly. Does anybody know how to change how fast it repeats a keystroke?

I hope I have explained this clearly enough. If I actually knew what I was looking for was called I could probably find it! I have a feeling it is in KDE settings or something like that.
