kernel-2.6.10 in mandrake-10.1?

just wanna know what do i have to include to make my usb mouse work because you see i am using kernel-2.6.8 and is working fine but when i compile and use kernel-2.6.10 the usb mouse did not work. i tried recompile but do not know exactly where to turn on the feature that will make the usb mouse work. btw i copied the old config from kernel-2.6.8.

any ideas?

thnx

maybe install the driver (for the usb mouse, that u were using on ur old kernel) in the new kernel.
i read somewhere that sometimes drivers need to be reinstalled after compiling the kernel.
