KDEWebDev+Qt compile error

Okay, this is a complicated one. I figured it would be best to post in the Mandriva specific forum.
I've been trying to install KDEWebDev-3.5.0.
I ran into a problem at the ./configure command (managed to fix the first few myself:)). The console output is:

checking for KDE... libraries /usr/lib, headers /usr/include
checking if UIC has KDE plugins available... no
configure: error:
you need to install kdelibs first.

If you did install kdelibs, then the Qt version that is picked up by
this configure is not the same version you used to compile kdelibs.
The Qt Plugin installed by kdelibs is *ONLY* loadable if it is the
_same Qt version_, compiled with the _same compiler_ and the same Qt
configuration settings.

I have to admit that I'm somewhat stumped here (I installed kdelibs) and need to ask if anyone knows how I can get it to agree with all the versions of qt and kdelibs etc etc.
I run Mandriva 10.1 and kernel 2.6.8.1-12mdk (assuming that info is needed for a solution).
Oh and hello to everyone, since I'm new here!:D

Did you install the kde libs devel (libkdecore4-devel)packages and kdebase devel packages?

i did it the urpmi way and it said to satisfy dependencies bla bla the following will be installed, then it listed a few packages, so I assume I got the lot. Since i installed in RPM form, could it be that they were compiled on a diff machine somewhere else in the world and then I dl'd and installed to mine which causes the error? (the thought struck me last night, but it could be total rubbish!)

Thank you for your reply though!! I will look into what you suggest :)
