Kdevelop & subversion

Hi there,

I have installed subversion+apache in my mandrake (mandriva) 10.2. It works fine.
I use kdevelop and I would like to use its subversion features, but it doesn't work (or I don't know how to use it).

First I found it was needed to create the file svn+http.protocol . In some web says to copy http.protocol and change some lines (exec=kio_http => exec=kio_svn; protocol=http => protocol=svn+http). This only changes the error from svn+http is an unknown protocol for klauncher to simply klauncher can't load kio_svn. I think this last error is due to the not existence of any kio_svn.so in Mandrake (there exists a kio_http.so) but I'm not sure.

Heeeelp please!!!

Hej Marcgarsan

your right, I had the same problem excepting I working with Gentoo.
You are missing the following files:

Code:
/usr
/usr/kde
/usr/kde/3.4
/usr/kde/3.4/lib
/usr/kde/3.4/lib/kde3
/usr/kde/3.4/lib/kde3/kded_ksvnd.la
/usr/kde/3.4/lib/kde3/kded_ksvnd.so
/usr/kde/3.4/lib/kde3/kio_svn.la
/usr/kde/3.4/lib/kde3/kio_svn.so
/usr/kde/3.4/share
/usr/kde/3.4/share/services
/usr/kde/3.4/share/services/kded
/usr/kde/3.4/share/services/kded/ksvnd.desktop
/usr/kde/3.4/share/services/svn+file.protocol
/usr/kde/3.4/share/services/svn+http.protocol
/usr/kde/3.4/share/services/svn+https.protocol
/usr/kde/3.4/share/services/svn+ssh.protocol
/usr/kde/3.4/share/services/svn.protocol
/usr/share
/usr/share/doc
/usr/share/doc/kdesdk-kioslaves-3.4.2
/usr/share/doc/kdesdk-kioslaves-3.4.2/README.gz
which are the contents of the kde-base/kdesdk-kioslaves-3.4.2.
So far I know, the kde version 3.4.1 must containing kio_svn.so, too.

The subverion functionalities of kdevelop (3.2.1-r1) are not complied,
so I have to use programs like rapidsvn or esvn.

Thank you xiatic for your response!!

I thought nobody understood me or nobody was interested in this problem!

Finally I decided, like you, to use esvn.
