kde problem in mdk9.1


hi ,
I have installed mdk 9.1 and when i login using kdm the screen blanks severla time and then gives me the shell , when i type gdm , it works fine and gives me the screen of gdm , but i can not choose kde else it will give me a blank blue screen and no change , the only working options are gnome and icewm ..etc anything other than kde ..
plus if i login using gnome i can not run any kde apps like kppp as when i run it , it appears then disappears !
my display is :
plug n play monitor on SiS 300
any help?

Did you install KDE?Open Mandrake Control center in GNOME environment and install it.
