KDE Development RPMs in MDK9.2beta2
I've had trouble installing the KDE development libraries in Mandrake 9.2 beta 2.
Every time I go into Upgrade Packages I narrow it down to the arts (not libarts) package being missing... when searching through the list of rpms on all 3 cd's.. I find that the RPM for arts doesn't even exist?! Anyone have any clue what's going on here? Thanks :) |
Is it not within another package, like a kdelibs one? RpmDrake has a search in description and even in file lists option in 9.1.
Had you checksummed the cd before and after burning? |
Not sure, but..
I don't think it's contained in another RPM.
The main reason I'm thinking this is mainly because when I try to select any KDE development library inside of the package manager, a message box comes up and tells me "You can not select this package" Odd eh? |
ARts is also the Analogue Realtime Synthesizer.
So no Libarts at all? Not even ending in dev? Try KDEMultimedia-dev. or similar. or just plain of KDEMultimedia. |
