KDe bigger than 3.1.3 for Mandrake9.2

I use mandrake, and the kde that comes with mandrake9.2 (kde3.1.3) haves some bugs,
For example konqueror in detailed list view, the mouse starts acting with a single click with the option double click selected in the kde control panel, dont appear any screensavers...
So i need to upgrade kde, but there arent any packages (rpms) for mandrake. It's
needed to install kde from source (files tar.bz2), and in mandrake uses rpm packages, and i don't know how to make rpm.
I already tried to install kde with the program Konstruct, but when i try to run kde made with Konstruct, it simply dont run...
Can you help me in this matter?

There are lots of kde packages for bug fixes on mandrake update. Try updating and see if your kde problems are solved.

well, i already installed that updates and happened that the kmenu almost disappear, i now see that was caused by the install of libqt3
But i could resolve the problem.
I installed the texstar kde3.1.4 that was do mdk9.1 but i instaled in mdk9.2 of course that were some problems regarding to dependencies, but i could resolv, (took some time )
Regarding to sreensavers that dont appear, just put a link like this:
ln -s ./applnk-mdk/.hidden ./applnk-mdk.hidden
and then the screensavers will appear in the kde control center
But i continue wanting to know how to do rpm packs of kde sources, for example with Konstruct.
any help?
