Kde 3.4

Hi all;

I just installed KDE 3.4 the other day. It's NICE!

But I have this stupid bubble window that shows up everytime i run my mouse across an ICON.

Telling me this is the freak-en konsole,,,, bla bla bla

Does anyone know how to shut this new feature off yet?

Right click on the panel -> Configure panel... then select tab appearance and disable "Mouse over effects"

Hi Cbradlea, I installed KDE 3.3.2 some time back, and have been very pleased with it. I have considered going up to 3.4, but am not really sure it is worth it. In your opinion, what makes 3.4 better than 3.3.2? New apps, new applets, new functionality, clever new "eye candy"... I'd be very interested. Thanks!

After reading the article above i decide to give it a try. I've only used it for a couple of day but it seem good.... I'd say give it a try.... JMHO...

KDE 3.4 is already available in Mandrakified form on Thac's site...
