Rogue Jedi X LQ Newbie Registered: Dec 2004 Distribution: Kubuntu Linux 5.10 Posts: 19 Rep:	KDE 3.2 crashes when using fullscreen apps (Mandrake 10.1) Well, what it says, really. This happened to me three times today. Twice when playing Starcraft with cedega, thinking it was a cedega problem and once when I tried to play Globulation2, which I also set to fullscreen mode. What happened in all cases was: 1. Application crashes 2. Slightly tilted horizontal lines of are shown 3. The nVidia logo shows up 4. KDE 3.2 restarts Any ideas? I have a nVidia GeForce2 MX 400 (64 MB) graphics card and I am using nVidia's Linux graphics driver version 1.0-6629. If it's relevant, there was a problem with X windows not starting after I had installed the driver and followed nVidia's instructions but I've solved it by adding "modprobe nvidia" to the end of the /etc/rc.local file. Any ideas?
