Kde 3.13

How does one in Mandrake 9.1 update KDE 3.13 from the source files? What are the instructions?

The easiest way would be to add the texstar repository to your Software Source Manager in the Control Center.

Source = texstar

URL = ftp://ftp.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/dist...drake/9.1/rpms

hdlist = hdlist.cz

Then just update the system.

If you add texstar to your urpmi sources, the easiest way is to open a console, su to root and type

Code:

urpmi kdebase-3.1.3

It will download and install all of the required files for KDE 3.1.3
