itunes


i was wondering if anyone knew of any way to get itunes to work on madrake. i have version 2006le but i dont think i really want to spend 40$ on crossover if there is ANY other way. thanks

oh yeah.... i also have the most recent version of itunes

I once tried iTunes via Crossover. It wasn't worth it. I couldn't use the music store and it didn't play its DRM protected files. I think there are better media players available (I like amarok).

EDIT: Just my Maybe a newer version works better. Have a try with wine.

Are you looking for any specific capability of iTunes?

i speciffically because i am on a college network and when i am using itunes, we can all listen to each others music. i am also very accustomed to i tunes and find amarok a bit impractical and harder to use.

for some of that you can also try ourTunes, an open-source Java program that can play and download iTunes-shared music on the network

i have read that rhythymbox is very similar to itunes... is there any way to get it for mandriva for kde
