istall java - j2sdk


What I need to install/download if I want to develop in java?
I already download from Sun web site the j2sdk_VERSION_.bin but it made me problems with installation...

I was just getting ready to download the Java SDK onto Mandriva 2006 myself. I too need the SDK to write and test Java. What problems ?

you could search for j2sdk at http://rpm.pbone.net. But it only found som old rpms for mandrake 9.X and some other strange results..

j2sdk-1.4.1_01-5mdk.i586.rpm for mandrake 9.X.
