is there no Kcron in Mandrake 10???

I installed MDK 10 Community this morning... and I have been following the instruction on madpenguin for setting up gotmail to pull down email from hotmail to a local folder to use it with evolution... and iit tells me to set up cron to run the file every-so-often (which i'd like it to run hourly)... but there's no Kcron.. and urpmi says it doesn't exist... I have no idea how to manually ad the script to cron.hourly... so if anyone has done this it would be a fantastic help...

I need to know where/if Kcron exists in MDK 10 and/or how to add a script to run .gotmailrc under cron.hourly....

I understand the cron structure but i don't have a clue on how to write the script... thanks in advance...

There is indeed no Kcron in Mandrake. They removed KDE's own admin tools since Mdk makes their own.

Is there a CronDrake?

If you have Webmin installed on your system, point your favourite web browser at https://localhost:10000/ and login as root.
click on the System tab and then the 'Scheduled Cron Jobs" option. A list will come up listing all the already defined cron jobs.
click the 'Create a new scheduled con job' located at the top or bottom of the listing.

Fill in the Username the script is to run as and in the command box type the full path to the script. Then set your schedule using the options underneath. To run a job hourly, in the 'When to execute' section click the 'Run on selected Schedule' and select Hourly from the drop down box. scroll down and click the Create (or save button if you open an existing job to edit) and you're all set.
