Questions about printer support and mandrake's stability
hi iwanna try mandrake, i have hesitations to download mandrake 10, for it might not be that stable and could have loads of bugs or whatsoever. Are you suggestiong mandrake 10 or just 9.2. And last question, if ever ever you'll be suggesting 9.2 can you give a link where i can download its ISOs so i'll just burn the cd.
is cannon mpc's supported? |
10 appears to be stable for me. I don't know your system or what you'll be using it for. I didn't have any trouble with it for my desktop machine using either the 2.4 or the 2.6 kernel.

Same here. The only unstable thing involved appears to be me.

Mandrake 10.1 is bullet proof. I haven't had one issue with it yet. The same was for 10.0 too except for a minor bug I came across with the internet connection sharing wizzard MDK has included. I ended up having to amnually do an edit to straighten out. I haven't had that issue with 10.1 at all so they definitly fixed it.
