argonauta LQ Newbie Registered: Apr 2005 Posts: 1 Rep:	Installing with SI Raid controller Hello all, new to the forum and rather new to Linux. I decided to install mandrake on my old AMD 400 box. I burned the 3 CDs installation of Mandrake, but I'm having problems installing it. My question goes to my hard drive. I just check compatibility issues with the pci RAID controller [SILICON IMAGE 3112A] installed in my system, and it's supported by Mandrake, what I do not know, from my poor windows experience, is that If I need to configure something while installing Linux so I can use the hard drive connected there instead of the usual mobo controller. Thank you all for any help!
