installing mdk 10.1
I have downloaded all files for install on my usbhd and want to install linux on one of my windows partition and use a file called hdcdrom_usb.img I can't find it and have only cdromdrive (not r-w and floppy) how can I install it

I'm not 100% sure on this but I think that the regular boot.iso from mdk10.1 has support for "USB Mass Storage" I can atleast see that it has loaded up those drives before it gets to the menu for selecting install method, wich in that case would be "Hard disk"

Yeah you are correct.
They key will be to boot with the USB disk plugged in and powered on when the machine itself is turned on and then if required CTRL-ALT-Fx to another console screen during the install to force a mount of the USB drive if required.

Thanks the boot goes well, but it tells me that it is missing hdlists, and I have hdlist in the main directory, Please what is wrong.

You must use the original directory structure, and you must point the installer to the correct directory.

I set it to the usbhd and came so long with the install to where the partition for linux should be and it also formate it for linux and then it come with the error that the hdlists is missing (maybe I don't understand what you write)

You need to point the installer to the DIRECTORY in addition to the USB hard disk itself.
