Question Installing mandrake extended partition

Hi folks,

I've 2 HDDs and tried to install MDK10 to my 2nd hard disk which currently has an NTFS partition on the first primary partition (hdd1). After formatting and repartitioning my drive during installation, the installer says that it can't access hdd1. Not sure what it's doing with that partition as it's NOT supposed to touch it at all anyway.

I've previously had Fedora Core 1 installed in the same extended partition I'd like to install MDK10 on.

Any ideas?
