Installing ati drivers.

Ok now, how do I install drivers for my 9800pro?

I've tried installing with the instructions on ati.com.
I got the build kernel error. The instructions said that I should then get the kernel source rpms.
I've been looking for them but only found *.mdk at my mandrake dvd...

So what should I do? Any step bu step instructions?

**Beware that the NEW ATI drivers do not work with the x.org version in Mandrake 10.1 You need to have the new one, like 6.8.1 or 6.8.2 or something. **

If you want to give it a try or have an older ATI driver on hand, then go to your console and type:
Code:
uname -a
Note the kernel version number

Go to your mandrake control center
Software --> Install
search for kernel-source and make sure it matches the version number
click the check box and install and you got the kernel-source.
