Installing 9.0 hang up after 2% in display bar

Help. I'm trying to install Mandrake 9.0 on my PC, here's the specs:
AthlonXP 1.6 GHZ
HD 40GB ( 5 partitions :
1st : winxp - ntfs,
2nd : fat32,
3rd : fat32,
4th : fat32,
5th : fat32)
Ram 128MB
NVidia video 64MB

I converted the 4th partition to linux format and linux swap format

Everything is going well until I'm on installing systems, then it will stop. I tried using different install options, But it always hang up.

What did I miss out? Or is my PC not compatible with Linux?

Looks like your running fairly new hardware..

Sounds like there's a problem with your CD? Scratched or something?

If not...

Try using Mandrake 9.1 or 9.2

They might've updated those errors..

Thaks Gary,

I was able to install Mandrake 9.0 only after I made a clear CMOS on my motherboard.

There must have been some CMOS settings that have prevented me from installing linux.

Well, I'm happy now, and ready to explore my new LINUX.
