installed screensavers and "configure your computer" disappeared!

Hi folks,

Through the software management module on Mandrake 9.2 I installed xscreensavers because there weren't any in the choices in Look 'n Feel in the KDE desktop configuration. I thought this would get me at least the default screensavers. Looks like this was a no-no because it uninstalled my "configure your computer" option.

How can I get it back ?

the menus can be rebuilt using
update-menus -v
in a terminal (close treminal manually afterwards as the process does not return to command prompt)

there is a bug in mandrake 9.2 that prevents screensavers in kde, there is a fix available in the updates
i think it's the popt update but am not sure
