Question Install ScreenSavers but their not Showing Up?

I've got a strange problem.

When I ran Power Pack and went to install Screen Savers from the Mandriva repo's they would ALWAYS show up in the Screen Saver List.

But in Discovery/LX 2006 "OR" Dioscovery 2007.
If I goto install them from the repo's, they will Install fine all the listed dependencies everything.
But they won't show up in the Screen Saver List.

I can installed a Couple of Screen Savers that are of the .rpm installer type that I found off the Web, and they install and show up on the list.?.

So I thought I'd try to install them with the Power Pack Screen Saver .rpm files, They will install but won't show up in the list.

Try to install them again it will tell you these are already installed.
Do a file search and it only finds the ones that actually show up on the list.

I even checked where they are suppose to be stored at.

/usr/share/Applnk/system/screensavers/

And their not there. No where to be found but yet the OS installer tells me they are already installed...

Any Ideas where they might be at?
Or where they went?

Any Ideas I'm most Grateful...THANKS...

I have a feeling that it's the manager not the packages.

I use kde, and after updating the packages show up.

By the way, are the 3d screensavers?

You may need to check you have x11-server-xorg and maybe the dev for that too.

I've got the xorg-x11-server file installed alredy.

But I went back to try and find the dev files for it.

I can neither find it as installed, or in the Mandriva repo's.

But Thanks much anywho it was well worth the shot.

The other update, I didn't quite explain, was updating KDE to 3.5.6,

which will only affect you if your using KDE as well.

Have you got the most recent version of Mandriva Drakxtools (etc)?
