Install problem with Mdk10 and Promise TX 2000 (pdc20271)

I'm trying to install the Promise FastTrak TX2000 (PDC20271) on my freshly installed system, MDK10.0 community with the 2.6.3-14mdksecure kernel with sources installed. I've compiled the pdc202xx_new.ko module from the sources but I just can't load it. It gives me this message:

[root@dhcppc2 pci]# insmod pdc202xx_new.ko.gz
insmod: error inserting 'pdc202xx_new.ko.gz': -1 Invalid module format

I'm a new person to mandrake and I don"t know what to do anymore.
Any help will be appreciated.
