Install Mandrake 9.2 Without CDROM Drive

I am first time in this forum also try to learn and test LINUX first time.
I have not any CDRW and CDROM on my system but my floppy drive is working properly ,Can I install Mandarake 9.2 ?
I have downloaded the file (Mandrake92-cd1-inst.i586.iso). My system is dual Booting one is win98 and other is Win2k.I am using a boot manager(Acronis Osselector) which is verry easy to use and configure and support all type of File sysytems.

Can any tell me what to do first and also tell that, is any more file needed to install(satanderd) it accept above said file (Mandrake92-cd1-inst.i586.iso).

Doing a HD install is possible, but you need a boot floppy prepared that get it started. You need to download the boot floppy image for HD installs.
if think it is called hd.img.
Then use the rawrite.exe program to produce this floppy. Look around the web or ftp site were you downloaded the iso file from. There is a readme file there which will explains which images to use for various types of installs, such as hd, network, usb...

As for your second question, during the install, it will ask you which other disks you have. You will have to unclick the 2nd and 3rd disk. That means there are things you will not be able to load.

Maybe a friend has an external usb cdrom burner.

Good Luck.
