Iight, let me try this again since I didn't get any replies last time (bootsplashes)

I'm running MDK 10.0 (Official) and the bootsplashes are working but only in 800x600 res mode. As soon as I boot in a higher FB resolution, the boot images don't show up even though 1024x768, 1280x1024 images and config files exist in the correct paths. Is there a limit on the image size initrd.img can handle? Whaddadilleyoooo?

I'm running KDE in 1280x1024 but the bootscreens and the console resolution is only 800x600. I want the bootscreens in that resolution and the console resolution to stay at that when I hit Ctrl+Alt+F1. I've created an entry for it in lilo.conf (with the vga=791 option), ran lilo and updated the initrd image using /sbin/splash.
