i586 and nForce4 mobo
I can't get Mandriva 2006 i586 to install on my computer. the only version that will install is the x64_86 version.
The reason I want the i586 version is that many sites that I visit use flash, and well, Macromedia did not release a 64bit version of it and I don't think they will soon.
My system is this,
BFG nforce4 mobo
Athlon 64 3800+
1024 Mb Ram
2 160 Gb SATA HD
1 10 Gb HD (where I will install Linux)
The installation fails when it wants to install a sata driver for my motherboad in the i586 version. On the x86_64 version, the installation of the driver is flawless.
Is there another developper that compiles flash for 64 bit browsers?
or is there a workaround for my problem?
Help me out ppl! Windows XP is killing me right now!
